Prego is a household name. Since 1986, they’ve been serving delicious Italian cuisine in their warm, friendly restaurant on Ponsonby Road.
We created a new website for Prego that conveys their warmth and love for good food.
This website also solved another challenge – managing restaurant vouchers in a busy environment. Before this website, their restaurant vouchers could be purchased in-person or over the phone, and had to be manually reconciled by their management team at the end of every shift.
Their new website allows them to sell their vouchers online using eCommerce. When a voucher is purchased, it’s automatically created by the website and emailed to the customer. When the voucher is used at the restaurant, their front-of-house staff can simply scan the voucher using a QR code, and it’s automatically reconciled.
This has significantly reduced the administration associated with vouchers, and has also increased their voucher sales significantly.
